Here are some pictures from the four performances I was able to attend last week. Pic 1 is of Irene and Cornelius during a group number. Pic 2 is one of Cornelius, Barnaby and Horace singing "It Takes a Woman". Pic 3 is Sydney with Randy's parents and also Becky (Randy's sister) her husband Mark and cousin Alex. They all made the trip for Saturday night's performance. Picture 4 is a group picture from Saturday night that includes Chelsea who drove from Minneapolis to see the play and Amber who drove from Hibbing! Now that's support! Pic 5 is a cute one of Sydney and her friend Vicki and Picture 6 is of Cornelius and Irene, as he professes his love to her.
High school plays are such a lot of work and as much as we enjoyed it last weekend, I do have to say we are all glad it's over. Sydney is still recovering. The late nights and draining schedule go to her and she was home sick on Monday. She is still not over it and has shared it with Brock and myself. We keep hearing reviews from people in town (some we don't even know, like the nurse who gave Brock his shot this week). It was a great experience for Sydney and she definitely has the "acting bug" now!

If she continues singing and acting the way she does she will be in far more performances than the high school level! Seriously, she did amazing. I love that whenever she started singing you could see everyone opening their programs to see who she was. :] And the few in the crowd you could hear saying "She's only a freshman?!" Way to go Syd!
